Mission Statement

The Pleasantville Housing Authority has adopted the following mission of HUD to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a suitable living environment free from discrimination. In order to accomplish this mission, this Authority will provide decent and safe housing, guidance and assistance to residents in keeping their communities free from drugs and direction in developing self-esteem so they may lead fulfilling and productive lives. This mission shall be accomplished by working cooperatively with the Residents. In carrying out this mission we are comitted to excellence in management and operations".
