Close proximity to both Morris and Warren counties provides a wide range of shopping, cultural activities, recreation, entertainment, charming restaurants, and much more. Also within close proximity is historic Chester, where you can browse and shop in quaint shops and dine in restored inns and taverns. Local rivers and streams are well stocked for some of the best fishing in New Jersey, and golf enthusiasts can choose from several challenging courses nearby. Miles of marked hiking trails (including a portion of the Appalachian Trail) provide plenty of adventure for trailblazers.

Heath Village in Hackettstown, New Jersey has been providing health care services and retirement housing since 1966, and has established itself as a leader in serving the mature market. We have continued to expand our facilities and services and have grown to meet the changing needs of society.

Our beautiful 100+ acre campus is comprised of over 200 independent apartments, a 10-unit cottage community, 45 hotel-style studio apartments, a 40-bed Residential Health Care Facility, and our 99-bed comprehensive Health Care Center. Residents can remain on campus (with the exception of hospital stays) near their spouse and friends regardless of health status. Application can be made for any level of living.

Village apartments and cottages are nestled within "miniature neighborhoods," scattered throughout the campus. All single story structures, they offer easy egress and opportunities for cheery flower gardens right outside your door. We have a variety of floor plans from which to choose, ranging in size from studios to two bedroom units.

Apartments are leased unfurnished so you can create your own "personal touch" with individualized decorating. A 24-hour emergency call system provides security and peace of mind, and maintenance-free living gives you the freedom to live your life to the fullest. All utilities are included, and you may also enjoy the companionship of a pet in your new home. Our convenient on-site guest accommodations allow for carefree visits from family and friends.

Why pay now for nursing care costs that you do not yet and may never need. At Heath Village our monthly rental fees are structured on a "pay as you go" program based on your accommodations. If your health needs should change and you require additional services, your monthly fee will be adjusted accordingly.

At Heath Village, you will have peace of mind knowing that support services and nursing care are here when you need them, but you will not have to pay for them until you do.You now have even more choices. Heath Village no longer requires that you pay an entrance fee, but you may opt to do so to reduce your monthly maintenance fee. In either case, you maintain control of your finances and invest them as you choose.
