Set in lovely Sewell, Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey, Cardinal Village is conveniently located near several shopping districts. Cardinal Village is in the hub of a growing complex of excellent medical facilities. The Village is privileged to serve our senior residents with the best of care, service, amenities, and accommodations. Over 90% of our referrals come from our neighbors and families whose loved ones have spent time at Cardinal Village.
With its spacious garden setting apartments, Cardinal Village offers carefree, independent living in a secure, comfortable environment. A popular feature of our accommodations is that many offer private, screened-in patios that look out on a serene, garden setting. Many of our residents enjoy planting their own annuals outside their doors each spring.

Welcome to Cardinal Village, a senior residential community, offering carefree, independent living in a secure, comfortable environment.
Cardinal Village apartments are available in several sizes to fit your individual needs and feature spacious, practical floor plans that will easily accommodate your furnishings. A popular feature of all of our apartments is a private, screened-in patio. Each ‘neighborhood’ has a laundry room complete with several washers and dryers. You may also enjoy the convenience of religious services regularly held in The Village’s Chapel and an on-site beauty/barber salon. The Village is also home to the Cardinal Wellness Center, offering its residents convenient medical care in-house with the affiliations of several board-certified physicians and specialists available by appointment.

If you should choose to become a resident of Cardinal Village, your financial commitment is minimal in that our residency contracts are on a month-to-month basis. (A 30-day termination notice is required.) There is no buy-in fee. All new residents are charged a one-time community fee. Electric, cable television, and telephone services are additional.
Recreation and Social Activities
At Cardinal Village, the social needs of our residents are met through a variety of programs and services facilitated by our capable Program Director and staff of recreation aides. A monthly calendar of events is published and distributed to the residents in the community’s monthly newsletter called The Chronicle.
Cardinal Village enjoys the support of community volunteers, interns, and a very active employee-sponsored recreation committee. Religious services are held weekly. Spiritual music programs are a welcome event at our community and are well attended. Numerous musicians perform throughout the month. The Recreation Department provides recreational pursuits for socialization, physical, spiritual, therapeutic, and cognitive needs.
Cardinal Village offers a variety of social, cultural and educational events, which are open to our neighbors and friends from the Gloucester County community. Some of the scheduled special events include:

Cardinal Wellness Center
Cardinal Village aims to please. That’s why we have a dedicated suite of offices in our community to serve the medical needs of our residents. The Cardinal Wellness Center offers our community the convenience of being able to receive medical treatment in-house. At present we have three board-certified physicians who share office hours five days a week and several specialists available by appointment, ranging from podiatry to neurology.
Demonstrating our commitment to the community, Cardinal Village offers its residents other ancillary services such as physical and occupational therapies, on-site Doppler services, and x-rays.
